137 THOUSAND FAMILIES ATTENDED TRAINING PROGRAMS AS A PART OF FAMILY SCHOOL PROJECT

44 hour long training programs on 10 main subjects are organized as part of the Family School Project launched with the support of President  Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's spouse Emine Erdoğan and aim at giving multidimensional support to families through training programs. Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer announced that approximately 137 thousand families attended training programs as a part of the project that also aims at making families more resilient against possible risks.

Till now, 137 million families attended training programs organized as a part of Family School Project which was initiated by the Ministry of National Education in 7 different pilot cities in line with the goal of providing guidance about domestic relations, home management and behavior management of children and reaching 1 million families in 81 cities of the country.
 
Training programs on different subjects
The Ministry organizes different training programs and it aims at supporting families with training programs about social skills, communication among family members, use of technology, moral development, stress management, healthy diet, environment and first aid.

Goal is to reach 1 million families
Reminding that the goal of the project which was disseminated to 81 cities during a ceremony held on August 12, 2022 with the participation of Emine Erdoğan is to reach 1 million families, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that" "We are organizing training programs on 10 main subjects such as family values, cultural values, communication among family members, social, psychological and emotional development, environmental awareness, stress management and prevention of addiction in approximately 1,000 public education centers."
 
Özer expressed his happiness to reach approximately 137 thousand families within a month and went on to say that:
 
"We will continue to support families with richer and updated contents developed according to the feedback. This will provide families the opportunity to become more resilient and stronger and adapt awareness about communication among family members and ability to prevent addictions among children.  Training programs will equip families with cultural and moral value knowledge and provide them awareness about social and psychological development."
